Varanasi, August 28 (HS). There will be special worship of Shri Laddu Gopal till Chhathi in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Vishnu Sahasranaam worship was held on Wednesday in the worship going on for 6 consecutive days. As part of the innovations conceived by the temple trust, the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival organized at the Dham is being celebrated as a six-day festival as per the advice of learned priests. Before the night sleeping aarti of Shri Vishweshwar (Kashi Vishwanath), the second day's worship of Shri Laddu Gopal was concluded with Vishnu Sahasranaam. In the Sanatan tradition, Shri Krishna is the incarnation of Lord Shri Hari Vishnu with sixteen arts.
On Shri Krishna Janmashtami, rituals of Krishna Janmotsav of Lord Shri Hari in the form of Shri Laddu Gopal are organized everywhere. As the deity resides in the worshipped idol, the special idol worshipped in the annual rituals is given a respectful farewell. In compliance with this eternal tradition, after Shashthi (sixth) date, the ritual of Laddu Gopal assuming the form of Vishnu again will be organized with prayer. The ritual of inviting the worshipped idol of Laddu Gopal for the next year with prayer to assume the form of Vishnu again will be organized on 31 August at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
