Phoenix: There were multiple gunshots at the Arizona campaign office of Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's candidate for the United States presidency and this year's presidential election. Fortunately, no one was injured in this second incident in two weeks. Because naturally no one was present in that office at the time of this incident, which happened after midnight on Monday. Several shots were fired at this office located on Southern Avenue of Priest Drive in Tempe, near the city of Phoenix in the state of Arizona.
What is shocking is that this was the second incident in the last two weeks. Still, the police said.
Fortunately, no one was injured as there was no one in the office at the time of the incident which happened after midnight. Video footage shows that the building has several bullet marks, but two bullets entered through the entrance and two through the window.
The police is investigating the incident thoroughly and collecting evidence from the party office. After this incident, strict security has been put in place around the party office day and night.
Earlier on September 16, BB guns or pellet guns were fired at the front windows after midnight. However, no one has been arrested or detained so far in connection with both these incidents. Officials are also investigating the possible motives behind the firing.
Sean McCarthy, Arizona Democratic coordinated campaign manager, thanked police in a statement for their quick response to the incidents.
It is worth noting that Arizona is becoming a real battle zone in this election for the post of President of the United States on November 5. Kamala Harris is coming to this state to campaign.
