MP Accident: There was a fierce collision between a rickshaw and a truck in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, due to which the rickshaw got crushed under the truck. Seven people have died in this accident and four people have been injured, who have been taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The accident happened on a cut road. As soon as the information of the accident was received, officials including the Collector (DM) SP reached the spot.
The police officer present at the spot said that all the injured passengers in the rickshaw have been taken to the hospital. The truck driver was also injured in the accident, who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. At present, there is no concrete information whether the truck driver was drunk or not. The injured have not been identified because they are not in a position to speak at this time.
According to the police officer, after investigating the spot, he will go to the hospital and only then any action will be taken. Also, the relatives of the injured will be informed by phone. Apart from this, it will also be investigated where the injured people belong to. Because, the local people could not identify the people riding the rickshaw.
