Kejriwal will have to appear: High Court

It is noteworthy that Kejriwal was not appearing for questioning on the summons of ED, he had sought assurance from the court that if he goes for questioning, he will not be arrested. Chief Minister Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that Kejriwal will appear before the ED for questioning, but the ED has told the court that no punitive action will be taken against him. Although the court said that Kejriwal will have to appear before the ED in response to the summons, there is no stay on his arrest.

Order of interim relief cannot be considered a rule: Ed

Meanwhile, the ED said that you cannot take the interim order as ex-parte evidence. Referring to the orders passed to provide security, the ASG said that orders for interim relief cannot be considered as rules. The court asked the ED that you are sending summons one after the other! So why weren't you arrested? Who is stopping? ED's lawyer ASG SV Raju replied that 'I don't know who told the Chief Minister that we are demanding his arrest.'
