Meerut, 29 April (HS). Students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Shobhit University visited IIT Roorkee on Monday. During this period, students acquired new information in Design Lab, TBI Center etc. at IIT Roorkee.
Under the banner of Innovation Council of Shobhit University, Meerut, students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering visited the Design Lab, TBI Center and Innovation Center at IIT Roorkee. The students witnessed many projects, startups and innovations on campus. Experts from various centers interacted with the students and inspired them for startups and entrepreneurship.
He informed that TIDES facilitates the incubation of new enterprises with innovative technology by admitting them into its incubation center and providing physical, technical, financial and networking support and services. He invited the students of Shobhit University to present their innovations and avail the laboratory facility of IIT Roorkee in their projects. During this tour, Professor VK Tyagi, Dean of the Department of Engineering and Technology of Shobhit University and Professor Nidhi Tyagi, Director of Computer Science Engineering accompanied the students.
Through this, students got an excellent opportunity for technical excellence and new innovations. This visit is an important step in the development of the students and will motivate them more. The students also observed the Param Ganga supercomputer and understood its immense capabilities. It was a good learning experience for the students of the university.
