Ranchi, June 23 (HS). The state BJP celebrated Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Balidan Diwas on Sunday in the form of a program called Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. Union Minister and BJP election in-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who was on his two-day visit to Jharkhand, planted a sapling in the ICAR campus Namkum. He said that both mother and nature are the basis of life. Life cannot be imagined without both.
He said that the party workers are committed to environmental protection. On the call of the Prime Minister, the workers will contribute to environmental protection by planting lakhs of trees from June 23 to July 6. He said that nature is also like a mother. He said that every worker should plant a tree in the name of his mother and pledge to protect it and also inspire every person in the society for this.

State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that environmental protection is the priority of the world today. The world is troubled by the increasing heat. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have to make a self-reliant India and also make the environment healthy.
On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri, regional organization general secretary Nagendra Tripathi, state organization general secretary Karmaveer Singh, Union Minister Sanjay Seth, outgoing state president and MP Deepak Prakash, state general secretary and MP Aditya Sahu, Dr. Pradeep Verma, Manoj Singh along with state officials, MLAs and MPs also planted trees at various places.
