Ranchi, June 23 (HS). The state BJP celebrated Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Balidan Diwas on Sunday in the form of a program called Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. Union Minister and BJP election in-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who was on his two-day visit to Jharkhand, planted a sapling in the ICAR campus Namkum. He said that the party workers are committed to environmental protection. On the call of the Prime Minister, the workers will contribute to environmental protection by planting lakhs of trees from June 23 to July 6. He said that nature is also like a mother. He said that every worker should plant a tree in the name of his mother and pledge to protect it and also inspire every person in the society for this.
