Shivpuri: Husband and wife become one in Lok Adalat, 947 cases resolved

Shivpuri, 11 May (HS). As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi and State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, National Lok Adalat was organized in the District Headquarters and Tehsil Courts on Saturday. In the National Lok Adalat, 947 cases were resolved through a total of 29 division benches in the district and more than 1558 parties were benefited. The resolved cases included 406 pending cases and 541 pre-litigation stage cases. An award of Rs 40133615 was passed in the above resolved cases.

Principal District Judge Rajendra Prasad Soni inaugurated the National Lok Adalat by garlanding the picture of Mother Saraswati and lighting the lamp in the ADR building of the District Legal Services Authority at the district headquarters.

Husband and wife become one in Lok Adalat

In a case in which Nitish Vishwas had filed a case under Section 9 Hindu Marriage Act to keep his wife Parvati Sikdar together. In which the boy was from Badarwas and the girl was from Kerala. In the said case, Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajendra Prasad Soni and Presiding Officer of Division Bench Number 01 of National Lok Adalat Joginder Singh, Principal Judge Family Court, Shivpuri, brokered a reconciliation between the two parties. In which the young man and the girl agreed to live together. The two garlanded each other in front of the court and they went home together from the court.
