On Rangbhari Ekadashi, till late evening on Wednesday, the courtyard of the residence of Dr. Vice Chancellor Tiwari, former Mahant of Srikashi Vishwanath Temple, was filled with colors of music and rituals. The immense love for the cosmic pastimes of Shiva was conveyed to Mahadev in 'Shivanjali' through the raga Natbhairav.
The cultural program of Shivanjali was started by the band's lead singer Amit Trivedi with the song 'Parvati Sang Sada Shiv Khel Rahe Holi, Bhoot, Pret Baital Karte Thitholi…' of Shri Ganesh Rudranad Band. His composition 'Yogi' composed in Raga Nat Bhairav filled the atmosphere with the experiences of Yogeshwar Shiva. Under the leadership of Amit Trivedi, Saurabh Shukla, Sneha Maharshi etc. of Jaunpur gave a lively presentation of the song 'Pikar Shiv ke Naam Ka Pyala, Main Albela Main Matwala…'.
Abhishek Sharma performed dance in Kathak style. Bhajan singer Chetan Swami recited Holi of Shiva. Dozens of artists including Puneet 'Pagal Baba', Anuradha Singh, Sanjay Dubey made musical presence from 11 am to 4 pm.
