Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK batting all-rounder Shivam Dubey on Tuesday completed his 1000 runs with the franchise in the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL. His journey with five-time champion team Chennai Super Kings has been good. He has become a better cricketer from this franchise. Shivam Dubey recorded this feat during his stormy innings of 66 runs against Lucknow Supergiants i.e. LSG at Chepauk Stadium. He has also broken Dhoni's record. Shivam Dubey is currently making a strong bid for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Shivam Dubey played a stormy inning of 66 runs in 27 balls against Lucknow Supergiants. In this innings, only three fours came off his bat but he hit seven sixes. He batted at a strike rate of 244.44 but the team had to face defeat. Shivam Dubey has now joined the select few players who have scored 1000 or more runs for CSK. He achieved this feat in 33 innings of 35 matches. He joined the team during the mega auction held in 2022. Since then he has scored 1018 runs at an average of 37.70 and strike rate of 161.08.
He has also previously played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals but his record there has not been good. For RCB, he managed to score 169 runs in 15 matches and for RR, he managed to score 230 runs in 9 matches.
