In the order issued by the government, it has been said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the importance given to cow in Indian culture and Vedic period.
Shinde government also said that milk from desi cow is best for human consumption. It has great importance in Ayurveda treatment method, Panchgavya treatment method, cow urine organic farming method. Keeping this in mind, the government has now declared the cow as 'Rajyamata'.
