Shiromani Committee will keep a budget of one billion for religious propagation, a record increase of 30 percent in the planned religious propagation budget

Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee under the leadership of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami on March 29 has planned to keep Rs 1 billion for the Dharma Pracharak Committee in the budget of Rs 12 billion for the year 2024-25. This year, the Dharma Prachar Committee is making preparations to celebrate the half-centenary celebrations dedicated to the 450th birth anniversary of Guru Amar Das Ji by spending Rs 2 crore. For the first time, there is a plan to keep a budget of Rs 8 crore for publicity abroad. Rs 1 crore for free judicial course, preparation for IPS, PCS etc at Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra Institute Bahadurgarh. There is a plan to keep a budget of Rs 2 crore for the training center for administrative services training. Apart from this, free education, accommodation and food are being provided to needy girls to 100 girls in Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University and 250 girls in Mata Sahib Kaur College.

Under the leadership of Advocate Dhami, there will be a record 30 percent increase in the budget of Dharma Prachar, while the budget of Shiromani Committee has increased by 25 percent in the year 2021-22.

Budget for the year 2023-24

Under the leadership of Chairman Advocate Harjinder Singh, the annual budget of Rs 11 billion 38 crore 14 lakh was presented for the year 2023-24, in which an increase of 17 percent was recorded as compared to the year 2022-23. Under future plans in this budget, Rs 1 crore for Nischay Administrative Services Training Centre, Rs 7 crore 9 lakh for setting up Sikh Propagation Center abroad, Rs 4 crore 72 for setting up solar plant in Gurdwara Sahiban in view of environmental purity. Lakh rupees have been given. , Sachkhand Shri 24 crores etc. were kept for new Sarvas in Harmandir Sahib Shri Amritsar.
