Sheopur, 07 October (Hindustan Reporter). District Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Jangid, while presiding over the peace committee meeting organized on Monday regarding Navratri, Navadurga immersion and Vijayadashami festival, said that all the festivals should be celebrated in a joyful and cordial atmosphere. On this occasion, he also gave directions to the concerned officials regarding the arrangements for the events to be held on the occasion of festivals. He appealed to everyone not to make unnecessary objectionable posts on social media and celebrate the festival with brotherhood.

The District Magistrate directed that arrangements should be made to clean the routes during the processions and processions organized on the occasion of festivals and the Electricity Board should take action to arrange the electric wires on the designated routes. He said that for the Dussehra festival on October 12, all arrangements should be ensured at the fair ground and arrangements for barricading with iron mesh should be made by PWD. Along with this, ensure all kinds of arrangements at Pandit Ghat for Navdurga immersion on 12th October. During this time a large number of administrative officers and peace committee members were present.

There will be adequate arrangements for security: Superintendent of Police

Superintendent of Police Virendra Jain said that adequate security arrangements will be made at the conclusion of Navratri on October 12 and during the Navadurga idol immersion and Vijayadashami procession. Apart from this, security arrangements will also be ensured at the Ravana Dahan site fair ground. Adequate security arrangements have also been made in the pandals of the tableau of Durga Maa during Navratra. He said that Mahila Shakti Wing has been formed, which is being patrolled by women police force riding scooters. He said that adequate women police force will be deployed in the women zone during Ravana Dahan at the fair grounds. It was informed in the meeting that the Vijayadashami procession will start from Shri Laxminarayan Temple Todi Ganesh Ji on October 12 at 4 pm.
