Sheikh held hostage a young man who went to Saudi Arabia for a job

Moradabad, July 31 (HS). In a complaint given to the police station on Wednesday, Mohammad Salim has alleged that his son was duped of Rs. 1.70 lakh on the pretext of getting him a job in Saudi Arabia. He said that the Sheikh there has held his son hostage.

He said that when he asked for his money back from the two accused youths and asked them to call back his son, they started threatening to kill him.

Mohammad Salim told in the application given to the police station that about a year ago he met two persons from Dilari police station area.

Salim said that his son Mohammad Sahil is a mechanic and he wants to send him abroad. Both of them said that he has got a visa for Riyadh city of Saudi Arabia. A company there needs a diesel mechanic. They said that it would cost Rs 1.70 lakh. About seven months ago, he sent his son to Saudi Arabia by giving Rs 1.70 lakh to both the accused.

According to Salim, he received a call from his son Sahil on 26th July. He told him that the two accused had sold him to a Sheikh in Saudi Arabia instead of getting him a job in the company.

The complainant said that when he asked for his money back from the two accused youths and asked them to call back his son, they started threatening to kill him.

Dilari police station in-charge Inspector Pradeep Kumar said that a complaint has been received from Mohammad Salim in the matter and further action is being taken by registering a case.
