Shashikant batted brilliantly, Purvanchal Vidyut Nigam defeated Kesco Kanpur

Lucknow, 04 March (HS). In the Uttar Pradesh Power Sector Inter Discom Cricket Competition, Purvanchal Varanasi team defeated Kesco Kanpur by 72 runs. In this match, Purvanchal batsman Shashikant batted brilliantly and scored 95 runs on 52 balls.

In the 20 over match being organized by Madhyanchal Vidyut Nigam Limited, Purvanchal Vidyut Nigam Limited, batting first, scored 181 runs after losing three wickets. Opener Ramesh Panika contributed 22 runs on 23 balls with the help of three fours.

Whereas Shashikant scored 95 runs on 52 balls with the help of eight fours and seven sixes. While Hrishikesh Yadav contributed 32 runs on 34 balls with the help of four fours, while Sufiyan Khan scored 16 runs on 13 balls with the help of one four. Whereas the entire Kesco team returned to the pavilion after scoring 109 runs and Purvanchal took the lead by winning the match by 72 runs. Jai scored the maximum runs of 24 runs for Kesco. Whereas opening batsman Nazis scored seven runs.
