Purnima Tithi will end at 4:55 pm the next day. On the day of Sharad Purnima, the time of moonrise will be 5.07 pm.

Goddess Lakshmi is especially worshiped on this day. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi showers her blessings on the devotees keeping vigil on this night.
