Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Seeing the All India Alliance getting close to majority, the big leaders of the Mahagathbandhan have become active. It is coming to light that Sharad Pawar, who is considered the Bhishma Pita of Maharashtra politics, has come in contact with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. At the same time, JDU has once again rejected any speculation of changing the party.
Sharad Pawar dismissed all speculations
Meanwhile, a meeting of the India Alliance has been planned in the evening. Maharashtra NCP chief Sharad Pawar will attend it. Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar said in a conversation with the media, 'Maharashtra election results are as expected. The election results have changed the image of the country.' However, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has denied talks with TDP.
Shocking election results in Maharashtra
According to the data of the Election Commission, Congress is leading on 12 seats in Maharashtra. After this, BJP got 11 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) got 11 seats, NCP (Sharad Pawar) got 7 seats, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) got 5 seats and NCP (Ajit Pawar) got 1 seat. Ajit Pawar has suffered a major setback in the grand alliance with BJP. This is also being considered a big setback because in the year 2019, BJP had performed very well here and won 23 seats, while its ally Shiv Sena (then undivided) was stuck at 18. The then undivided NCP won four seats, while Congress managed to win only one seat.
In the ongoing trends of Lok Sabha elections 2024, NDA seems to be getting majority. BJP-led NDA is leading in more than 290 seats. Congress-led India is also performing better than the last election. In India too, the trend of around 230 seats continues. It is worth noting that BJP alone will not be able to cross the majority figure of 272. BJP will have to depend on allies like TDP and JDU. In such a situation, it becomes important for BJP to not only keep its allies together but also keep them loyal.
TDP is leading in 16 seats
On the other hand, as the Indo-Alliance alliance is getting closer to the majority, the big leaders of the grand alliance have become active. Meanwhile, it is coming to light that Sharad Pawar, who is considered the Bhishma Pita of Maharashtra politics, has come in contact with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. In the current trends, TDP has a large share (second largest) in the number of seats NDA is getting. In Andhra Pradesh, BJP and TDP contested the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections together. In Andhra Pradesh, TDP is currently leading on 16 seats.
According to sources, there is talk of Sharad Pawar talking to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. If there is any change in Naidu's stance, NDA may face difficulty in forming the government. On the other hand, BJP's Andhra Pradesh affairs in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh had a courtesy meeting with Chandrababu Naidu.
