Former Chief Minister and former Union Minister Shanta Kumar said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has told everyone about the new use of bulldozer against crime and the state is also using bulldozer against criminals in the same way. He congratulated all of them.
Shanta Kumar said in a statement on Saturday that I am surprised and worried that the property worth lakhs and crores of rupees that is going to be destroyed by bulldozers was not built in a day. The government was there when it was being built. Why did no one stop it? If illegal construction is stopped before it is built, then this situation will not arise.
He said that such a huge construction was going on. The concerned officers and employees kept filling their pockets with corruption and kept their eyes closed and after many years the same construction is now being demolished. After all, who is responsible for the destruction of national property worth crores?
Shanta Kumar has requested Yogi that the officers/employees who turned a blind eye to the demolition of illegal constructions due to corruption should also be punished. Even if they have retired, they should be punished. This bulldozer should not only be used on illegal constructions but also on the corrupt officers/employees who allow illegal constructions to take place.
