Actually, the female police head constable posted in Ayodhya was going to her in-laws' house to celebrate the festival of Choth. The accused who carried out this cruel incident is a resident of the same village. The police have arrested the accused. The case is being investigated.

On Saturday, the female head constable was going from Ayodhya to her village in Kanpur in plain uniform. Before reaching her father-in-law's village, the woman was passing through a deserted road. Then a young man forcibly dragged her into the field and raped her. The constable opposed him and during this he had a heated argument with the accused. However, she could not free herself from the clutches of the accused and he succeeded in raping her.

ACP Ghatampur Ranjit Kumar said that due to darkness, the accused took the head constable to the field and raped her and tore her clothes. The accused is a resident of the neighboring village whose name is Dharmendra alias Kallu. The police have arrested him. He has been sent to jail. The victim head constable told the police that when the accused tried to drag him into the field, a heated argument took place with him. Meanwhile, the female head constable also chewed one of the finger of the accused, due to which a tooth of the female constable was also broken. Even after this, the accused tore the woman's clothes and raped her.
Search operation was also conducted
Sen police station said that based on the complaint of the woman head constable, an immediate search operation was launched in the area and the accused was caught shortly after due to the identification given by the woman constable, marks on his face and the amputated finger. According to the police, the accused has confessed to his crime.
