Shahjahanpur, 02 December (HS). A young man was shot dead in Sadar Bazar police station area on Monday. The Superintendent of Police and other officers inspected the spot of the incident. The Superintendent of Police has deployed three teams to search for the absconding accused.
Superintendent of Police Rajesh S said that Ayush (25), resident of Mohalla Gadiyana of Sadar Bazar area of the police station, was shot dead at Ramlila Ground in Cantt area on Monday afternoon. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. On information, the forensic team collected evidence from the incident site.
He said that the matter of dispute has come to light during the investigation. The family members have expressed suspicion on a young man, but no complaint has been received yet. After sending the body for post-mortem, police teams were deployed under the leadership of the city jurisdictional officer to arrest the accused.
