Shahbaz Sharif clarified on congratulating Modi late | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

New Delhi: Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif finally congratulated Narendra Modi on his third victory, albeit late. But soon after this, Pakistan returned to its old 'colour'. Regarding these congratulations, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that he does not consider these congratulations as a 'prelude of love', rather he congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi only due to diplomatic courtesy. This was his compulsion.

Speaking on the program 'Capital-Talk' of Pakistan's news channel, Khawaja Asif said, “This message is a formal message. It is a diplomatic compulsion. Adding venom to it, he said, “Pakistan will never forget that Narendra Modi is the killer of Muslims in India.” Their entire political strategy has been anti-Muslim. When Shahbaz Sharif came (became Prime Minister), they congratulated him. That is why (Modi) has been congratulated.”

In this program, Gauhar Khan, leader of Imran Khan's party PTI, also criticized the increase given to Modi and said that we will have to dispute with India over Article 370. Muslims of India have “rejected” Modi in this election. Not a single Muslim from BJP has been included (in the cabinet).

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif wholeheartedly congratulated Narendra Modi. He wrote in the post, “My best wishes to Modi ji for assuming power for the third time. Our party's success is visible in the elections. People's faith in your leadership is eternal. Let us turn hatred into hope and take advantage of this opportunity to shape the future of two billion people in South Asia.”
