Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue to lead the country even after turning 75. Union Minister Amit Shah said that there is no rule in the BJP constitution regarding retirement at the age of 75 years. Along with this he claimed that the opposition neither has any issue, nor any policy nor any program. That's why they are misleading people by making such meaningless claims.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has responded to the claim of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, in which he had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will retire when he turns 75 next year and will make Amit Shah the PM.

Addressing a rally in Hyderabad, Amit Shah said, I want to tell Arvind Kejriwal and company and the entire Indi alliance that Modi will continue to lead the country even after the age of 75. There is no rule in the constitution of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which says that no one can become a leader after the age of 75 years. I want to assure the opposition that Modiji will complete his third term and Modiji will continue to lead the country in the future also. There is no confusion within BJP on this issue.

The Home Minister also questioned Kejriwal's 'overconfidence' and said, the Supreme Court has only granted interim bail to Kejriwal and it is temporary. It is not that the court has acquitted the Delhi CM in the liquor policy matter. His former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is still in jail. Arvind Kejriwal has got interim bail for election campaign. He prayed before the Supreme Court that his arrest was wrong, but the Supreme Court did not agree with this. Kejriwal has got interim bail only till June 1. He has to surrender before the agencies on June 2. If Kejriwal considers it a clean chit then his understanding of the law is poor.

Shah said that not only BJP but also the public knows that every particle and moment of Modi ji is dedicated to the service of Mother India. Under his leadership the vision of 'Developed India' is being realized and he will take the country to new heights in the next five years of his tenure. The opposition should not be happy that Modi will go away next year. Modiji is our leader and will continue to lead us. The Indian alliance and the leaders who came out of jail on bail also know that 'if Modi comes, only Modi will stay, only Modi will make India strong'.

BJP President JP Nadda also said that Arvind Kejriwal, who was released on bail from jail, and the entire Indi alliance are upset because they have seen failure. They want to mislead and confuse the country. That is why they have now decided to make Prime Minister Modi's age an issue.
