Chaitra Navratri Ghatasthapana Muhurta
The first solar eclipse of 2024 will occur from 9.12 pm to 2.22 am on April 8. This solar eclipse is taking place on the night of Chaitra Amavasya. Chaitra Navratri Sutak of solar eclipse starts 12 hours before 9th April. But this solar eclipse will not be visible in India, hence its Sutak period will not be considered in India. Therefore, the devotees of Matarani can not only establish but can also perform puja without any hindrance. There are two auspicious times for establishment this year. The first auspicious time will be from 6.11 am to 10.23 am on April 9. Abhijita Muhurta of Ghatasthapana will be from 11.57 am to 12.48 pm.

installation method
For establishment, Saptadhya should be sown in a wide mouthed earthen pot. Then place a vessel filled with water on it. Tie the Kalash on the upper part of the Kalash. Then mango or Ashoka leaves should be placed on top of the Kalash. After this, the coconut is wrapped in a red cloth with the help of Kalava and placed on top of the Kalash and between the leaves. While installing the Kalash of Ghatasthapana Mantra Should be chanted. After this, invoke the Goddess and light the eternal flame. Durga Saptashati should be recited and Aarti should be performed at the end.
