Nothing has been said about the contribution of Punjab and Akali Dal in ending the Emergency, but a false image of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale has been presented.
After which the Shiromani Committee has sent a letter to Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Censor Board Chairperson Prasoon Joshi. In this, the Shiromani Committee has been requested to stop the release of the film and share its entire script with the Shiromani Committee, so that the Sikh community and their sentiments regarding this film can be expressed.
A few days ago, Kangana shared the trailer of this film on her social media account. In which the period of terrorism in Punjab in 1980 is also shown. There is also a character named Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala, whom radical Sikhs see as a saint. Sarabjit Khalsa believes that Operation Blue Star is also shown in the film, which was carried out to eliminate Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala.
Earlier, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami had demanded registration of an FIR against film actress Kangana Ranaut. Issuing a press statement, Advocate Dhami had said that Kangana Ranaut often deliberately says things that provoke the sentiments of Sikhs.
The government is protecting them instead of taking action against them. The government should file a case against Kangana Ranaut for hurting the religious sentiments of Sikhs through the film Emergency. Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has also strongly objected to this film and has demanded to stop the release of the film.
