Seven years imprisonment to the person guilty of culpable homicide

Firozabad, 06 March (Hindustan Reporter). The court on Wednesday sentenced a person guilty of culpable homicide to seven years' imprisonment. Along with this, fine has also been imposed. If he does not pay the fine, he will have to face additional punishment.

On January 14, 2009, a youth resident of Suhag Nagar was seriously injured by being beaten with sticks. Later the young man died during treatment. The father of the deceased, Dalveer, son of Nekse Lal, resident of Suhag Nagar, had filed a case against Ramchandra in the police station. After investigation, the police filed a charge sheet against him in the court.

The case went on in the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Quick Court Court No. 2 Atul Chaudhary. ADGC Manoj Sharma, who was defending the case on behalf of the prosecution, said that many witnesses testified during the trial. Many evidences were presented before the court.

On the basis of testimony and evidence of witnesses, the court found Ramchandra guilty. The court sentenced him to seven years' imprisonment. A fine of Rs 10 thousand has been imposed on him. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to face additional punishment of three months.
