Dhanbad, 25 July (HS). Police have arrested seven mobile thieves from Dhanbad railway station along with stolen goods. On Thursday, Railway DSP Dhirendra Narayan Banka and Government Railway Station Incharge Dhanbad Ranjit Kumar said that the Railway Superintendent of Police has issued guidelines to keep special vigil for the safety of passengers coming and going for Shravani Mela in Dhanbad railway station premises. For which special vigil was being kept at the station under the direction of Dhanbad station.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, upon seeing the police officer on duty on the platform, unidentified people started running away. Police officials have caught a total of seven people. Upon searching them, laptops, iPhones, mobiles, and many other items were recovered. The arrested people include Suraj Kumar Verma, resident of Katras Mod, Jharia, Arman Qureshi, resident of Naya Bazar Idgah Mosque, Suraj Singh, resident of Bhuli Mod, Mohammad Sameer Khan, resident of Baraipur, 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Ravi Singh, also a resident of Bhuli Mod, Ravi Kumar, resident of Baliapur, and Salamat Ghazi, resident of Talhi 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
The police recovered from them Dell company's laptop, charger, mouse, Apple company's mobile phone, white colour charger, OnePlus company's mobile and charger, Samsung company's mobile, Jio phone with black colour keypad, another Samsung mobile, blue colour keypad mobile phone, Nokia keypad mobile phone, Aadhar card, driving licence and SBI ATM card.
