There is some silver lining in that. The crops which have been harvested are lying in the fields. There is every possibility of it rotting. This rain will prove to be a milestone for the upcoming Rabi crops along with other crops. There is a saying of the consumer that if he gets the east, he will return for four months. This saying has proved true after a long time.

Hathiya Nakshatra appears in the last fortnight of Pitru Paksha. This is going on at present. Due to change in weather, easterly wind is blowing. The weather has suddenly changed due to easterly wind. At the time of departure of monsoon, there is a period of heavy rain. All this is happening in Hathiya (Hasta) Nakshatra. This is proving the saying of Ghagh to be true. The sesame crop has suffered a major blow due to two days of heavy rain. There is a possibility of the crops harvested in the fields rotting. At the same time, the possibility of ripe crops getting spoiled due to water is increasing. Farmers Mansingh, Udaybhan Yadav, Vardani Kushwaha, Prem Narayan, Pradeep Kumar, Baratilal etc. told that the rain has completely ruined the sesame crop. The paddy crop has benefited the most from this rain. Besides, the rains have made the way for the upcoming Rabi crops easier. As soon as the weather clears after the rain, farmers will start sowing pulses and oilseed crops.

MPs came forward to help the farmers suffering due to natural disaster

There is despair among the farmers in Bundelkhand due to huge damage to Kharif crops due to rain. Hamirpur-Mahoba-Tindwari parliamentary constituency MP Ajendra Singh Rajput has today sent a letter to the state's CM and DM Hamirpur to help the farmers, demanding a survey of the crops damaged by unseasonal rains. The MP said that crops have been destroyed due to excessive rain. The farmer is on the verge of starvation. Therefore, there has been a demand to give compensation for the bad crops.
