Material

  • Pauwa (pauwa) – 2 cups
  • Finely chopped onion – 1
  • Finely chopped chillies – 4 to 5
  • Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Fennel – 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet neem – 12-15 leaves
  • salt to taste
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander – as per taste
  • Coriander – 1 tablespoon
  • Peas – 1/2 bowl
  • Oil- 2 tbsp
  • Lemon – 1

how to make indori pauwa

  • To make Indori Pauwa, first wash the raw Pauwa 2 to 3 times with clean water and keep it in a sieve.
  • – Now heat oil in a pan on medium flame and add mustard seeds, coriander, sweet neem, fennel and asafoetida and fry it.
  • When the mustard seeds start crackling, add peas, green chillies and onions to the pan and fry until they turn pink.
  • – Meanwhile, add turmeric powder, salt and sugar to the flour kept in a sieve and mix everything well.
  • – After this, add Pauwa in the pan and mix it well with a spoon.
  • – Now cover the pan with a plate and let it cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. – Now pour some water on the poha to soften it and turn off the gas. – Now cover the poha and keep it aside for a minute.
  • Your delicious Indori Pauwa is ready. Before serving, top it with chopped onion, sev, chopped coriander, pomegranate seeds and lemon.
