The date of September 11 is recorded in the history of the country and the world for many important reasons. On this date in 2001, the world's most dangerous terrorist attack took place. Terrorists crashed two American passenger planes into two skyscrapers of the World Trade Center in New York. Thousands of people died in this accident. This attack shook not only America but the entire world. The dreaded terrorist organization Al Qaeda carried out this dangerous attack.

Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four American planes and crashed them at different places. First, American Airlines Flight 11 hit the northern tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 am. 17 minutes later, the second plane, United Airlines Flight 175, hit the southern tower. The third plane hit the Pentagon, the US Defense Ministry in Washington, at around 9:37 am and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

After these attacks, there was a catastrophe in America and soon after, there was a pile of dead bodies. Citizens of 70 different countries including America died in this attack. 19 terrorists of Al Qaeda were also killed in the attack. According to estimates, about 18000 people were present in the World Trade Center when the attack took place.
