Stock Market Today: In view of Donald Trump's lead in the US election results, there has been a spectacular rise in the Indian stock market. After the ups and downs of the last few days, Sensex and Nifty are trading rapidly today. Investors' capital has also increased by Rs 4 lakh crore.
Sensex-Nifty status
After opening with a gain of more than 200 points, the Sensex rose 638.71 points to 80115. Which was trading at 79945.41 with a jump of 469.98 points at 11.04 am. Out of 30 shares of Sensex pack, 13 shares are trading with decline and 17 shares are trading at higher level. Nifty 50 was trading at 24352.95, up 139.65 points. On Nifty50, 30 shares are trading in the green zone and 20 shares are trading in the red zone. Out of 3839 shares traded on BSE, 2693 shares advanced and 998 shares declined. 185 shares touched a new high of the year, while 309 shares hit the upper circuit. Apart from this, lower circuit was seen in 137 shares and annual bottom was seen in 11 shares.
Rise in IT-Techno shares
With signs of Donald Trump's victory, IT and technology stocks have witnessed a spectacular rise. The IT index rose 3.30 percent while the technology index was trading at 2.61 percent. Among technology stocks, except Indus Tower, all 24 stocks saw a rise of up to 5 percent. The metal index is trading 0.22 percent lower. Apart from this, all the sectoral indices are trading in positive direction. Energy, PSU, Realty, Consumer Durables indices rose more than 1 percent.
