Sensex lifetime high, Nifty low

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India has maintained interest rates in the monetary policy review today and the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to take the country forward with confidence, Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, Chirag Paswan including allies, foreign funds today recovered from the recession and after a massive net purchase of Rs 4391 crore, the Sensex crossed 76,000 and Nifty crossed 23,000, making a new record. Along with this, the allegations of a big stock scam made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the name of exit polls during the days of the election results were also heard and today the market made a new record of boom as these allegations slapped. Over the weekend, funds, experts, players increased enthusiasm in the stocks and the Sensex created a new history of 76795.31 and finally jumped 1618.85 points to reach a new record level of 76693.36. While the Nifty 50 spot closed 468.75 points higher at 23290.15. The Nifty was slightly below its all-time high of 23338.70. The BSE Small Cap index jumped 1037.74 points to close at 48731.55 and the BSE Mid Cap index jumped 555.71 points to close at 44111.44.

auto stocks surge

Today, funds and experts created a storm of rise again by buying heavily in the shares of automobile companies. Mahindra & Mahindra increased by Rs 157.45 to Rs 2857.10, Tata Motors increased by Rs 32.25 to Rs 970.40, Balkrishna Industries increased by Rs 93.15 to Rs 3200, Apollo Tyres increased by Rs 14 to Rs 485. Cummins India increased by Rs 86.95 to Rs 3591, Ashok Leyland increased by Rs 5.55 to Rs 231.30, Maruti Suzuki increased by Rs 118.80 to Rs 12,794.15, MRF increased by Rs 1178.05 to Rs 1,27,299, Eicher Motors increased by Rs 1,27,299. The stock rose by Rs 26.85 to Rs 4745.65. The BSE Auto Index closed at 56623.88, up by 1395.33 points.

IT index jumps

BSE IT index closed 1174.99 points higher at 35909.41 as funds continued aggressive buying in IT-Software Services, Technology stocks today. Newsen Software rose Rs 57.65 to Rs 947.60, Wipro rose Rs 23.45 to Rs 484.45, Birla Soft rose Rs 31.60 to Rs 678.40, Tech Mahindra rose Rs 59.35 to Rs 1377.50, Infosys rose Rs 60.85 to Rs 1533.35, HCL Technologies rose Rs 33.30 to Rs 1431.05, TCS rose Rs 62.20 to Rs 3892.90.

Consumer index increased

The BSE Consumer Durables index closed 1238.87 points higher at 57152.71 as funds made selective aggressive buying in consumer durables stocks today. Whirlpool of India rose by Rs.69.10 to Rs.1611.50, Titan Company rose by Rs.119.90 to Rs.3443.45, Blue Star rose by Rs.41.35 to Rs.1565.65, Dixon Technology rose by Rs.224.10 to Rs.9986.45.

Healthcare stocks surge

The BSE Healthcare index closed 589.07 points higher at 36301.88 as funds made heavy purchases in healthcare-pharmaceuticals stocks today. Wockhardt rose Rs 27.25 to Rs 572.40, Sanofi India rose Rs 454.25 to Rs 9599.20, Aarti Drugs rose Rs 19.80 to Rs 512.70, Shalby rose Rs 9.30 to Rs 272, Fortis Health rose Rs 15.50 to Rs 461.65, Alkem Lab rose Rs 128.40 to Rs 4950, Dr Reddy's Lab rose Rs 140.50 to Rs 6037.55.

Capital goods index increased

The BSE Capital Goods index closed 965.59 points higher at 68852.26 as funds continued aggressive buying in capital goods stocks today. Praj Industries rose by Rs 55.70 to Rs 590.75, Kalpataru Power rose by Rs 79.50 to Rs 1262, Bharat Electronics rose by Rs 9.40 to Rs 283.10, Grindwell Northern rose by Rs 75.35 to Rs 2612.05, BHEL rose by Rs 7.20 to Rs 285.35, Carborundum rose by Rs 29.20 to Rs 1607.30.

Increase in investor wealth

Today, due to aggressive buying of shares for the third consecutive day, investors' wealth i.e. the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies increased by Rs 7.6 lakh crore in a single day. Which has increased by Rs 28.66 lakh crore in the last three days to Rs 423.49 lakh crore.

DII sales Rs 1290 crore

Foreign Portfolio Investors – FPIs, FIIs made net purchases of shares worth Rs 4391.02 crore in cash today on Friday. There were net sales of Rs 15,552.95 crore against total purchases of Rs 19,943.97 crore. While DIIs-Domestic Institutional Investors made net sales of Rs 1289.75 crore in cash today. There were net sales of Rs 16,853.92 crore against total purchases of Rs 15,564.17 crore.
