The Indian stock market opened with gains today, the last day of the week. Sensex opened up 355 at 72,406, Paytm shares fell. Tremendous growth is being seen in the stock market. Nifty also saw a jump of 90 points and is trading at the level of 22,000. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 stocks are rising and 7 are declining.
There was a rise in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 15th February, there was a surge in the stock market. Sensex closed at 72,050, up 227 points. At the same time, a jump of 70 points was recorded in Nifty and it closed at 21,910.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 rose and 14 declined. Paytm shares fell 5%. Lower limit of Paytm reduced from 10% to 5%. After strong results, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) shares saw a rise of 6.81% today.
