Lord Shiva Parvati: In Hindu Puranas, the pair of Shiva and Parvati has been called the ideal pair. In Shiva Purana, this pair has been described as ideal for domestic life. The basic thing behind this is that, Mata Sati did not hide anything from Lord Shankar and Lord Shankar also did not hide anything from Mata Parvati. Till then, even the Gurumantras spoken in the ears of the Guru used to tell Mata Parvati. There was such a bond between this couple that once Mata Parvati cursed her father when she was a Sati, and her husband was being mocked at her ghat.
Saddened by her husband's mockery, Mata Sati burnt herself in fire. When the news of this reached Lord Shiva, the incarnation of compassion, he too abandoned his original nature and assumed a fierce form. Apart from Shiva Purana, stories of the married life of Lord Shiva and Parvati are also found in many places in Skanda Purana and Shrimad Bhagwat. According to the story of Shiva Purana, once Devrishi Narada told Mata Parvati that Lord Shiva does not love her. Then Mata Parvati replied to Devrishi Narada, 'Lord Shiva loves me so much that he even told me the Guru Mantra that was in his ears.'
Shiv destroyed the yagna of his father-in-law
An incident related to this is found in Shiv Puran. Once Mother Sati reached the yagya of her father King Himachal without invitation. At that time Lord Shiva was being ridiculed there. Seeing this, Mother Sati got angry and immediately cursed her father and was consumed by creating yogic fire from the thumb of her right foot. When this news reached Lord Shiva through Narada, he created Veerbhadra from his matted hair. Who destroyed the yagya of King Himachal.
In the separation from Sati, Lord Shiva gave up his original nature
It is shown in the story that at that time Lord Shiva left his original nature of compassion and assumed the form of Rudra and started performing Tandava. Shiva, who resided in Lord Shiva with all his faults, became restless due to the anger of Mother Sati. After this, he went into Samadhi for 87 thousand years. After this, to destroy the demons and to have children, the gods broke the Samadhi of Kamadeva. However, in this Kamadeva also had to face the anger of Shiva.
