Whatever happens in our life, we are responsible for it, no one else. In the present times, we have forgotten the art of self-awareness and have become slaves to the likes and dislikes of others. Nadarshah refused to sit on the elephant saying that sitting on one whose reins were not in my hands was not free from danger. If the reins of our life are in our hands then we are our own masters and are free. I don't know why we have abandoned our intelligence and conscience and allowed outsiders to manage our activities. Generally we are living life not by nature but under the influence of others.
Enchanted by someone's praise, he became his follower. If someone accuses us, we develop enmity towards him. We get so influenced by others that we don't even get a chance to look within ourselves. Our happiness and unhappiness have become dependent on others because everything in life is decided by others. We are also doing all our work to impress others and live up to their standards. We have lost all our originality. Whereas our interest is in becoming our own master. As soon as we become our own masters, we will come face to face with the wealth within us. Then all the noise, errors and disorders of the world will disappear. Beyond all this, self-assessment is the true tool. It is a means of connecting the soul to God.
