Katihar, August 11 (HS). Selection trial competition for Sepak Takraw sport was organized in the sports building cum gymnasium located in Mirchaibari of the city area with the courtesy of Bihar State Sports Authority and District Administration with the help of Eklavya State Residential Training Center. 30 students from various schools of Katihar district participated in this competition. Arun Kumar, technical officer of the selection team authorized by Bihar State Sports Authority, Patna, Sonu Kumar of Bihar Sepak Takraw Association, President District Sepak Takraw Association Katihar's coach Sunny Kumar, Prince Kumar and Sunny Kumar (2) and Babban Kumar Jha were present.
The members of the selection team informed that all the participants selected in this selection trial competition will be trained by national level coaches at Eklavya State Residential Centre through Bihar State Sports Authority and all the facilities including food, accommodation and education of all the above selected participants will be provided by the government.
