West Champaran (H.S.). The work being done by the district administration for the purpose of all-round development of Valmikinagar on the Indo-Nepal border is now visible on the ground. Recently, a district-level team under the leadership of District Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Rai took stock of the development possibilities in Valmikinagar, in which the emphasis was laid on the arrangements of passenger shed, drinking water, toilets, lighting etc. for tourists and devotees. Taking initiative on that, Block Bagaha 2 BDO Bittu Kumar and Circle Officer Nikhil Kumar Singh reached Valmikinagar on Thursday afternoon and started preparing the site map along with the measurement by marking the vacant land of the Silk Department under the Irrigation Department.
Also, land is being selected for the construction of passenger shed, drinking water, toilet lighting etc. for the convenience of tourists and devotees at Sonha Ghat, Kauleshwar Temple, Jatashankar Temple, Nardevi Mata Temple situated on the confluence of Triveni. At the same time, under the supervision of revenue employee Jagai Ram and Valmikinagar's revenue employee Prabhat Ranjan, government Amin Anil Yadav, District Council President Nirbhay Kumar Mahato, MLA representative Umesh Srivastava, Valmikinagar Mukhiya Pannalal Sah and JDU Block Vice President Laddu Sharma, the vacant land around the community building of Scheduled Tribes built in Golchowk was measured. At the same time, the roundabout built in Golchowk was also inspected so that it can be renovated.
Giving information in this context, Block Bagaha 2 BDO Bittu Kumar and CO Nikhil Kumar Singh jointly said that in the light of the order of the District Magistrate, a place is being selected for the construction of a passenger shed for the stay of passengers at Gol Chowk. Also, inspection has been done for the renovation of the roundabout. Park and fountain will be constructed for the beautification of the roundabout and the vacant land of the Silk Department has been inspected for the bus stand. All these will be measured and a survey report will be prepared and submitted to the District Magistrate. Also, the CO further said that a no objection certificate will be sought by meeting the officials of the Water Resources Department for the identified land.
The beauty of Gol Chowk will be enhanced
To enhance the beauty of Gol Chowk, which is called the heart of the tourist city Valmiki Nagar, a fountain will be constructed in Gol Chowk. The fountain of water coming out of it will attract tourists.
