Bhagalpur, 21 August (HS). In the light of the letter received by the National Service Scheme Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University Bhagalpur on Wednesday from the Regional Directorate of National Service Scheme Patna, 10 volunteers and 10 female volunteers were to be selected to prepare a talent pool for the National Unity Camp, Adventure Camp, Youth Festival and other camps to be held at the national level. The names of which were to be sent to the Director by 25 August. For this, the coordinator of the National Service Scheme had already directed the college to send five volunteers from each unit for selection. In this selection, about 100 female volunteers from a total of 15 units participated.
A selection committee was formed for transparency and fairness in this selection. It included Professor Nisha Jha, Head of the Department of Music, Pragya Rai, member of Marwari College Cultural Council, Anshu Kumar and Neetu Kumari of TNB College. Program Officer Dr. Shailesh Mishra, Varun Tanti, Dr. Usha Sharma, Dr. Ajit Kumar and Secretary Sports Council Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal were present on the occasion. The basis of selection was the completion of 1 year in National Service Scheme by the volunteers and their cultural proficiency and knowledge about NSS on the basis of a special camp. Program coordinator Dr. Rahul Kumar said that due to the announcement of Bharat Bandh, only volunteers of 15 units could participate in the Sevika selection. Therefore, the selection civil will be organized on August 24 for the remaining 15 units.
