Sehore, July 13 (HS). Like every year, this year too Guru Purnima Mahotsav is being organized in the under construction Murli Manohar and Kubereshwar Mahadev temple located in Chitavlia Hema near the district headquarters. This seven-day festival will start from Sunday, July 14. On this occasion, a seven-day Shiv Mahapuran will be organized from 1 pm to 4 pm and a one-day Diksha Mahotsav will be organized on July 21 under the guidance of famous storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra. Preparations for the story to be held in the temple premises have been completed.

Administrative officials took stock of the Katha Sthal on Saturday. Thousands of devotees have started coming to the Katha Sthal since Saturday morning. For this, Vithalesh Seva Samiti's manager Sameer Shukla, Pandit Vinay Mishra, Ashish Verma, Manoj Dixit Mama, Akash Sharma, Saubhagya Mishra, Ravindra Nayak and others distributed food prasad for the devotees coming here, besides three thousand liters of Thandai contributed by social worker Rajendra Prasad Modi, director of Jai Shri Gayatri Paneer Factory. DC Baghel etc. were present on this occasion from the factory side. For the devotees coming here, the committee is making arrangements for 50 quintals of potatoes, 30 quintals of pumpkin, 50 quintals of flour, 20 quintals of sev-mixer etc. in the modern kitchen. More than 500 jawans have been arranged by the police department for the security, traffic system and parking etc. of the devotees coming here. Apart from this, proper arrangements are also being made by the officials and employees of Nagar Palika, District, Health Department, Madhya Pradesh Distribution Company, Public Works Department.

Thousands of devotees have camped in the pandal

Priyanshu Dixit, media in-charge of Vithalesh Seva Samiti, said that the seven-day Shiv Mahapuran starting from Sunday will begin at 1 pm, but a day before, thousands of devotees have already camped in the pandal. They are standing with their families with their luggage. The process of devotees coming has started not only from the state but also from Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Devotees are reaching the Katha pandal with complete arrangements and securing their place. So far, more than 10 thousand devotees have come here. Three grand pandals have been made at the Katha Sthal. In which more than two lakh devotees can sit together and listen to the Katha. Apart from this, many pandals have also been made for dining hall etc.
