Seed certification scam should be investigated impartially: Mukesh Nayak | News India

Bhopal, September 3 (HS). State Congress Media Department President Mukesh Nayak while talking to journalists on Tuesday alleged that farmers were cheated during the tenure of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, which is continuing at the same pace till date. The recent scam related to seed certification is also included in the same series. Advanced variety of seeds prepared by researchers are given to farmers so that farming becomes modern, farmers' production increases, farmers get more production per hectare, but unfortunately the corruption that has happened in the entire state, the way farmers are treated and the dishonesty that has happened with them is not a pardonable crime.

Mukesh Nayak said that I want to tell with proof that the certified seed which was to be given to the farmers in two districts Dindori and Mandla was not given at all and the names of the same 400-500 farmers whose names are included in the list will be found again and again in every list, in Dindori this seed was to be given to 19 thousand farmers but it was not given to them, the most important thing is that from top to bottom all the people are involved in this corruption, its living proof is that the seed did not come to the districts, if it had come then there would have been a challan, gate pass, godown, there would have been some proof of transportation, where did the seed come, where was it kept, who received it, there is no proof at all.

Mukesh Nayak said that a fake list of 19 thousand farmers was made and it was claimed that seeds were distributed to them. Under the National Security Mission, farmers are given gram and lentil seeds to encourage commercial crops in the Tarf scheme and 75-75 seeds are given to the farmers of the entire state, not a single farmer of Mandla and Dindori district was given this seed, while a list of 14 thousand farmers was released and it was told that this seed was given to the farmers. When the research team reached here, it was found that the farmers whose names are registered in the portal are not from that village, they do not have Khasra numbers, those farmers do not have any land. The biggest misfortune is that the names of farmers who died in 2012 are also included in the list. How did those farmers take seeds from the state government from 2012 to 23?

While asking questions, he said that I want to ask Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who were called Krishi Karman Award winners in Madhya Pradesh and were decorated with many decorations, where did they go and give seeds to those farmers. How did the distribution of seeds happen with fake names, fake Khasra numbers, fake villages.
