Kishtwar, 9 November (Hindustan Reporter). Following the killing of two village security committee members by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, security has been beefed up near their homes to prevent any further accidents. After the brutal attack by terrorists, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The village defense guard was a resident of Ohli-Kuntwada village in Kishtwar district.
Earlier, the mortal remains of two village security committee members, Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, were brought to their homes in Ohli-Kuntwara village. The bodies of the two were recovered in the forested areas of Ohli Kuntwara after an intensive joint search operation by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Army on Friday. After which the operation of security forces is going on in the area in search of terrorists.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, terrorists had killed two members of Village Security Committee (VDG) in Kishtwar. The deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar. They had gone to the forest to graze their cattle.
