Ingredients for making peanut-jaggery chikki
- 250 grams peanuts
- 200 grams jaggery
- 25 grams butter
- Some ghee (for greasing)
How to make Peanut-Java Chikki
- – First of all, fry the peanuts in a pan on medium flame until they become golden and crisp.
- Be careful not to burn the peanuts.
- – Now add jaggery and 1/2 cup water in a separate pan and cook on medium flame.
- – Cook until the jaggery melts completely and becomes thick.
- – Then add peanuts to the melted jaggery and mix well.
- Cook this mixture until all the peanuts are thoroughly coated with jaggery.
- – After this, grease a tray or plate with ghee.
- – Now spread the prepared mixture in the tray and spread it evenly with the help of a spoon or rolling pin.
- Let this mixture cool for at least 2-3 hours.
- – After it cools down, cut the chikki into your desired shape.

- Use pure desi jaggery to make chikki.
- Any type of peanuts can be used as per preference, such as roasted or raw peanuts.
- If chikki likes sweets then you can add some more jaggery.
