Ajit Pawar's party NCP has announced the second list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. In which names of seven candidates have been announced. In which Baba Siddiqui's son Jishan Siddiqui has been declared the candidate. Apart from this, NCP has made Nishikant Patil its candidate from Islampur and Sana Malik from Anushakti Nagar. It is noteworthy that Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of late NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, has joined Ajit Pawar-led NCP before the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Zeeshan Siddiqui is currently the Congress MLA from Bandra East seat and is contesting this election on NCP ticket. Maha Vikas Aghadi member Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) has given ticket to Varun Desai from Bandra East.

Baba Siddiqui's son

The special thing is that Zeeshan Siddiqui is the son of late NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. He is the former president of Mumbai Youth Congress and MLA from Bandra East assembly seat. His father Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai's Bandra area on the night of Dussehra. The Crime Branch has so far arrested 11 accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, including two shooters and an arms supplier.
