The RJD-led grand alliance in Bihar today announced seat allocation for the alliance partners. Of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, 26 have been allotted to RJD, 9 to Congress, 3 to CPI (ML), 1 to CPI and 1 to CPI (M).
The seat allocation was announced in the presence of RJD national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha, state Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and leaders of CPI (ML) Liberation, CPI and CPI (M).
However, Tejashwi Yadav was not present in this press conference. Jha said that the names of the candidates will be announced soon. He said that we have unanimously decided to share the seats.
Let us tell you that RJD had already announced its candidates for four seats Gaya, Aurangabad, Jammu and Nawada. Voting is to be held on these seats in the first phase only.
CPI and CPI (M) have announced the names of their candidates from Begusarai and Khagaria seats.
