Search operation conducted for two and a half hours in Medininagar Central Jail

Palamu, 21 October (Hindustan Reporter). A special search operation was conducted in Medininagar Central Jail at 6 pm on Monday by the joint team of Palamu District Administration and Police Administration. Under this operation, all the barracks and prisoners of the jail were searched, which lasted for about two and a half hours. Many senior officers including DC Shashi Ranjan, SP Rishma Ramesan, SDO Sulochana Meena, Sadar SDPO Manibhushan Prasad and city police station in-charge Inspector Devvrat Poddar were present in this search operation.

During the investigation, every barrack and premises of the jail were thoroughly searched. A team of more than 100 policemen participated in this search operation. The jail was checked for the presence of any objectionable material, but no objectionable item was recovered during the raid.

This raid was conducted under a special strategy, in which separate teams of each barrack of the jail were thoroughly searched. The operation was jointly led by senior officials of the district administration and police administration to ensure that the security and rules of the jail are strictly followed.
