Kanpur, 03 August (HS). Police has started investigation by registering a case on Saturday in the case of firing at the house of an advocate late at night in Nawabganj police station area. Police is continuously searching for the suspected scooter rider on the basis of CCTV footage obtained from the spot.
Assistant Police Commissioner Swarupnagar Shikhar said that a person fled after firing a gun at the house of Advocate Kshitij, a resident of Nawabganj, at around 2:30 in the night. The police team that reached the spot after getting the information has started the investigation. During the investigation, a suspicious young man riding a scooty was seen firing a gun in the CCTV footage obtained by the police from the spot. The police have registered a case after taking a complaint from Advocate Kshitij in this regard and are engaged in searching for the suspicious scooty and the young man riding it. The entire case will be disclosed very soon.
