Ranchi, 01 August (HS). After the incident in the coaching institute in Delhi, coaching institutes are being inspected across the country. In this sequence, on Thursday, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha, the standards set for operation in various coaching institutes were thoroughly inspected by teams in different areas. On the information that coaching institutes were not operating as per the prescribed standards in Ranchi urban area, five teams were formed by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha. They were instructed to physically inspect the designated area and investigate 16 different points.
Sadar SDO Utkarsh Kumar inspected coaching institutes in Lalpur area. He inspected various private institutes of Lalpur area like Motion, Physics Wala, Mahindra, Ramdas Academy. The inspections were done on main points like parking, safety, medical safety, fire safety and ventilation. An investigation report is being prepared on ventilation and parking irregularities at many places and answers have been sought from the operators.
SDO said that further inspection will continue and legal action will be taken against those found guilty in the investigation.
The team inspected the name and complete address of the coaching institute, name and address of the proprietor of the coaching institute, faculty associated with the coaching institute, number of enrolled students, status of fee payment, compliance with labour standards, proper equipment, adequate lighting, drinking water, toilet arrangements, status of infrastructure, fire fighting, emergency medical, parking, status of the building, building and basement, status of security standards, number of entry and exit gates, action plan to deal with emergency situations etc. The officers deputed in the team formed by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha for inspection of coaching institutes have been directed to provide a detailed investigation report on all the above points within a week.
