Illegal liquor sellers in Basukinath were shocked when a liquor den operating in a tea stall at Basukinath bus stop was exposed on Saturday night, in which the police seized a large quantity of foreign liquor and beer bottles. During this time, excise inspector Vikram Kumar was present with the SDO.
Regarding the raid, Excise Inspector Vikram Kumar said that 24 liters of beer and more than 10 liters of foreign liquor were recovered from the tea shop. The liquor sellers have been arrested by the police. In this case, a case has been registered against the shop owners under relevant sections of the law regarding illegal sale and storage of liquor.
