Scorpio collides with a truck parked on the road, two dead, one seriously injured

Deoria, 13 April (Hindus). A Scorpio coming at high speed on Barhaj-Rudrapur road in Madanpur police station area rammed into a parked truck. In this accident, two youths riding Scorpio died, while one was seriously injured. The police admitted the injured to the hospital. Police identified the dead and sent the bodies for post-mortem.

Krishna Yadav (40), son of Ramakant Yadav, resident of Korwa village of Madanpur police station area, along with Sanjay Singh (35), son of Shivraj Singh and Manoj (32), son of Sheshnath Yadav of neighboring village Tadwa, had gone for some work on Friday night. Late at night, all three were coming back to the village in a Scorpio car. Here, RTO vehicles were being checked near Tadwa village on Barhaj Rudrapur road. The officers were stopping a truck and checking the papers. Meanwhile, a Scorpio came at high speed from behind and entered the truck. In the accident, Scorpio riders Kishun Yadav and Sanjay Singh died on the spot, while Manoj Yadav was seriously injured.

After the accident, a crowd gathered and the angry people beat up an ARTO employee and injured him. People nearby informed the Madanpur police station about the accident. Madanpur police reached the spot after receiving information and took the injured Manoj and the employee to the hospital for treatment. The police took both the bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem.
