Araria, 31 August (HS). Along with motorcycles, theft of four wheelers has also increased rapidly in Forbesganj police station area. In this episode, unknown thieves stole Scorpio car number BR 38 P/2687 parked on the road next to Farbisganj Alam Tola Ward No. 23 Jama Masjid.

Regarding the matter, the owner of the vehicle, 39-year-old Pragati Devi, wife of Shekhar Kumar Shashi, resident of Bhagkohliya ward number two, has given an application to the Forbesganj police station in-charge, registering a case against the unknown thief and has requested to find the stolen Scorpio. In the application given to the police station in-charge, he told that the driver of the vehicle is 28-year-old Mo Zaid, son of Mo. Naseem Alam, who lives near Jama Masjid in Alam Tola ward number 23. The Scorpio vehicle was parked near Jama Masjid at night, which was stolen by an unknown thief.

After receiving the information at 5:15 in the morning, the stolen vehicle could not be found despite a lot of searching. It was stated in the application that during the search, the CCTV footage of Araria Toll Plaza was scanned and the incident of Scorpio passing through the toll plaza at 3:49 am was captured. It is said that the theft of the Scorpio vehicle was carried out by a blue coloured Baleno car number BR 01 EP / 6107.

It is noteworthy that earlier on June 18, a Tata Sumo vehicle bearing registration number BR 11 PB/0716 was stolen in a similar fashion from the Registry Office Ward No. 3. However, the police have registered the case and are investigating the matter.
