Sometimes people feel the scorching heat and humidity and the next moment even the clouds are seen playing hide and seek with the sun. As the month of April begins, warnings are being issued regarding increasing heat and heat waves. The temperature has exceeded 41 degrees in many districts in the state.
According to Ranchi Meteorological Center, the maximum temperature in the state has crossed 42 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The highest temperature was recorded in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The maximum temperature recorded here was 42.2 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of heat wave at some places in the eastern parts of the state on April 7 to 8. It is likely to affect the districts of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamtara, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj, Pakur.
According to Abhishek Anand, scientist of Ranchi Meteorological Department, heat wave conditions are being seen at some places in the eastern part of the state. But, people will get relief from the cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal. There will be rain with thunderstorms in the next three days, which will provide some relief from the heat. There will be strong winds on Sunday, whose speed can be between 40 to 50 kilometers. On April 9, strong winds will blow at isolated places in the southern part of the state. There may be splashes with thunder. Thunderstorms may also occur. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature during the next 2 days in the state. After this, it is likely to drop by four to five degrees Celsius during the next three days.
