Schools closed, AQI crosses 400, know the situation

The situation is very bad due to air pollution in Delhi. Even today on 15th November the Air Quality Index (AQI) is 420. The air of about 25 areas of the capital is poisonous, AQI has been recorded above 400 in these areas. In view of increasing air pollution, Delhi government has closed schools. At the same time, after the alert of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has implemented the third phase of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi-NCR. Group 3 restrictions have come into effect in Delhi from today. Therefore, there will be a ban on construction work in Delhi for the time being. Unnecessary mining will be banned. Only electric, CNG or BS-6 diesel vehicles will run. Interstate buses will not run. Online education will be provided in primary schools. There are orders to sprinkle water on the roads.

Appealed to the people of Delhi to cooperate while implementing Grape-3.

BS-III petrol vehicles and BS-IV diesel vehicles will not run. Grape-3 restrictions will also be applicable in Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar. Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai has appealed to the people of Delhi to cooperate while implementing Grape-3.

Online classes will be held in schools

In view of the increasing air pollution in Delhi, Chief Minister Atishi ordered the closure of schools yesterday. While issuing the notification, he wrote a post that online classes should be implemented in all the primary schools of Delhi and children should stay at home. This order will remain in force till further orders. Keeping in mind the increasing air pollution, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva made this demand. The Directorate of Education of Delhi Government has sent a copy of the order to all the primary schools. It has been said in the order that physical classes will not be conducted till class 5.
